XLC With puncture protection:
Tires with integrated puncture protection have a special layer between the tread and the carcass, which effectively protects the tube from punctures, thus actively preventing flat tires.

XLC With reflective stripes:
The legislatures of many countries (including Germany) standardized the apertures. Both the familiar spoke baffles and continuous reflective strips, vulcanized on both side tires, are allowed. These reflective strips are made of tiny glass spheres, which bounce the light back to its source, thus making these reflective strips visible from a distance of 150m, much further than that of normal beam baffles. The reflection angle is also wider. According to the German Road Traffic Act (StVZO), if a bicycle tire is equipped with these reflective strips, it can be dispensed with spoke baffles.
