Discover the MERAK TYPE Q RAPID towbar bike rack by MENABO, proudly crafted and designed in Italy. Ideal for transporting 2 bikes (with provisions for adding an extension for a 3rd bike), this rack is also compatible with E-bikes. Perfect for vehicles equipped with a towbar, allowing you to enjoy your favorite sport on every outing!
Its frame is constructed from high-quality steel, featuring 2 adjustable arms with rollers at the top for perfect adaptation and secure attachment of the bike frames, with the option to use an additional lock (not included – sold separately) on each for theft protection. At the bottom of the frame, the tire retention rails are made of aluminum, each equipped with 2 adjustable straps that securely hold the bike wheels during transport.
The rack is equipped with a tilting mechanism operated by a hand lever, allowing you to easily and quickly access your vehicle's trunk when needed during your journey without hindering the volume of the bikes. It also features a rapid lock lever with a key, integrated lights powered by the towbar using a 13-pin adapter, and a socket for attaching a license plate frame.
All contact points with the vehicle or bike frames are reinforced with padding made of soft, non-slip rubber, and connections are covered with plastic coating (rubber) for protection and to prevent scratches or damage.
Compatible with triangular bike frames, with diameters ranging from min: 30 mm to max: 50 mm, frame dimensions (oval, square, triangular) ranging from min: 30 x 60 mm to max: 50 x 70 mm, tire diameter ranging from min: 22'' to max: 29'', maximum tire width of 65 mm, and maximum wheelbase length of 1260 mm. Suitable for all types of bikes, conventional and electric (E-bike).
