The design principles of the Hug, beyond the comfort for the paddler, include the large storage space without compromising the kayak's speed or stability. The storage compartments at the bow and stern offer plenty of liters for transporting items while keeping the kayak buoyant when closed.

Included in the standard equipment is the rudder for ideal navigation and quicker response to turns. The appropriate length of the ropes for using the rudder is adjusted according to the height of the paddler sitting in the rear seat.

The rudder is operated by the feet only from the rear position.
